I got bored of the old one and decided to change it, mostly because there were a few glitches with the old layout - the c-box which double posts everything, and the fact that posts with videos end up really choppy [like my previous post]...another reason i prefer this layout is because everything is on the same page...the music player, the c-box, the 'about me' section...

these vegetables were so bitter none of us wanted to eat them....that Audrey la….she’s the one who bought them, so me and wes tried to force her to finish them….but in the end we threw them out….Then it was time to wash the dishes……Audrey hosted her cooking show “Part II – cooking the sauce for the pig meat (pork?)”

After dinner, we walked down to morsjaya because it was so HOT and we were in the mood for ice cream….so we bought a whole tub and the 3 of us finished that too! [my gosh, we were such PIGS that night…]

Oh, Audrey....you're the BEST! It was her birthday on the 4th and she treated us....She took us out for lunch yesterday...Pizza!! ^^

Once we got to pizza hut we ordered and waited for out food...it didn't take long. [Side note on Pizza hut: the service is really good!] while we were waiting for the pizza to arrive, we took pictures and joked around and wondered whether we should call Jinky..we had tried calling him earlier but no one answered..
By the time they finally arrived, we had almost finished. Turns out they were all SLEEPING at tony's house.... =.="
so we ordered them a pizza and since we were already finished, we left to go, as wesley said, 'window shopping'.. but in my opinion, it wasn't much shopping, since we only walked a few shops away from pizza hut and u-turned back because the pizza we ordered for the boys was a take-away.....*frustrated sigh*
since amanda had to be back at school at 1:15, we left as soon as we picked up miss may's pizza...driving back to school was even more exhilirating than driving to parkson...no, wait, Bintang Plaza. All that screaming and shouting and laughing! And marcus was making me even more nervous with all his blubberings..
I think we burned off all our pizza with our high metablic rate from all the adrenaline pumping through our system... To all you people out there: if you think you're fat and need to lose some weight, just go take a drive in Audrey's car - you'll spend so much energy shouting that your guaranteed to burn off all the calories from your last meal! =P
But honestly la, her driving wasn't that bad....she just doesn't look out for other cars coming her way....and wes was keeping her under 60km/h...so it wasn't too fast...
I've been in friends's cars A LOT scarier than that...Yew hui, for one.... The speed measuring thingy in her car is broken, so i don't know how fast she drives.....but it is FAST....and she doesn't stop scolding other drivers.. i think it's because when you scold someone, some of your stress is released, so you don't feel so anxious.....and i don't mind her scolding - it keeps me laughing and distracts me from her driving.. =P But i still trust her driving...it may be fast but i trust her, she's a responsible driver, and i don't feel like i'm in danger...kinda like when i'm in yee fatt's car...i trust him, too.....he drives reasonably well, and i don't feel like he's about to crash the car...

One of the Elders in our church was recently diagnosed with cancer – Elder Jong, who is just 49, was diagnosed at the end of July with advanced stages of cancer in the lungs, brain and bone...
He began treatment immediately after he was diagnosed, flying to Kuching and KL and back numerous times. He went for chemotherapy and radiotherapy. Every week, our church prayed for him, prayed for his recovery, prayed for his physical and mental strength.
Earlier today, he was admitted to hospital because of breathing difficulties and at around 1pm, Elder Jong left us to return home to Our Father. He left behind a family of four – a loving wife, and three beautiful children. I didn’t spend much time with him or his or his wife, so I don’t know them very well, but I'm rather close with his children, who go to Youth every week. Grace, the eldest, is in Form 5 this year; Joshua, the middle child is in Form 3; and Daniel, the youngest is in Form 1.
I cannot imagine the anguish they’re going through, their father was taken away from them so suddenly. I have never experienced anything as terrible as this so all I can do offer is my sympathy and condolences…and pray for their recovery…
I guess once He makes His decision of whom He wants to take, there’s no stopping Him. Every decision he makes has a reason. I like to think that once His servant has done all he can do on earth, He brings them home, where they can rest and be rewarded for all they have done for Him during their brief time among us. I’m sure Elder Yong’s achievements were of no small amount.
Elder Jong was a veterinarian, his wife is a kindergarten teacher, all three kids are straight-A students…and their whole family is God-devoted and God-loving. Grace, Joshua and Daniel grew up with the bible attached firmly to their hands, and no one can beat them in bible knowledge quizzes and games.
Mummy and I used to joke that their family is a perfect family….After this tragedy, I sincerely hope that they can pick themselves up and once again find happiness. They are in my prayers constantly, and I hope they are in yours as well.







oh my gosh...i don't know what happened to me in chemistry today....i totally blanked out...
we were doing this experiment where we heat a metal sulphate in a test tube to remove the water. We did a similar experiment last week and everything went smoothly, but for some reason, and i have no idea why, this week i could not stop screwing it up..
First I overheated the test tube and dr lee warned me about it and came over to help me out and suddenly, CRACK! the test tube broke! it was scary...dr lee wouldn't stop "watching" me or i suppose you could say "keeping an eye out for me", so i just concentrated on what i was doing....test tube tilted, but not too much...don't let it overheat.....
Then later on while i was heating it a second time, audrey was being funny and joking with dr lee and i looked behind to have a quick laugh and suddenly audrey looked at my test tube and i looked at it, and so did dr lee.........it was on fire! (not the test tube, the clamp - which is made of wood) I quickly blew out the flame and acted like "what? fire? me? nah....didn't see anything...did you?" while the whole time I was thinking "what the hell is WRONG with me today?!"
And not to mention the exercise we were discussing later on...I was just like,
Argh....can't wait till the holidays....i need a break..
