Malaysia Boleh! *coughcough*
Woohoo.. I had loads of fun saturday night.. ^^
Our Youth group had a recycling competition where each cell group has to design the national flag out of recycled materials..
At first I was really worried about my group because I was the only person who brought materials, and I suppose it’s partly my fault because I’m the group leader and I dind’t remind my members to bring stuff for the flag…so our resources were limited…
But everything turned out okay in the end..we pulled through and we won!! So happy! =D

This is our flag:
Intro: we used newspaper as a base. After drawing a rough sketch of the moon, star and stripes, we cut strips of white paper (used on one side) and stuck them down. The star and moon were cut from yellow tracing paper and stuck down on a page of a magazine with a blue background. The red stripes were the best part. We laid down double-sided tape and stuck ‘xiang si dou’ seeds on the tape…the effect was really nice!
And these are the flags of other groups…
This group basically just used paper and paint….it didn’t turn out so good…if you notice, the points of the star are curling up…. they ended up rushing and putting it all together in the last 15 minutes…. No one knows what they were doing before that… =P
This group used egg trays and painted them red…..but unfortunately, as you can see from the bottom stripe , they ran out of time too….
