i messed up.....real bad.....
oh my gosh...i don't know what happened to me in chemistry today....i totally blanked out...
we were doing this experiment where we heat a metal sulphate in a test tube to remove the water. We did a similar experiment last week and everything went smoothly, but for some reason, and i have no idea why, this week i could not stop screwing it up..
First I overheated the test tube and dr lee warned me about it and came over to help me out and suddenly, CRACK! the test tube broke! it was scary...dr lee wouldn't stop "watching" me or i suppose you could say "keeping an eye out for me", so i just concentrated on what i was doing....test tube tilted, but not too much...don't let it overheat.....
Then later on while i was heating it a second time, audrey was being funny and joking with dr lee and i looked behind to have a quick laugh and suddenly audrey looked at my test tube and i looked at it, and so did dr lee.........it was on fire! (not the test tube, the clamp - which is made of wood) I quickly blew out the flame and acted like "what? fire? me? nah....didn't see anything...did you?"
while the whole time I was thinking "what the hell is WRONG with me today?!"And not to mention the exercise we were discussing later on...I was just like,
Argh....can't wait till the holidays....i need a break..
